Steyn on Global Warming

Who could say it better than Mark Steyn? The guy is one of the Western World's greatest assets.

If "global warming" is real and if man is responsible, why then do so many "experts" need to rely on obviously fraudulent data? The famous "hockey stick" graph showed the planet's climate history as basically one long bungalow with the Empire State Building tacked on the end. Completely false. In evaluating industrial impact, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change used GDP estimates based on exchange rates rather than purchasing power: As a result, they assume by the year 2100 that not only South Africans but also North Koreans will have a higher per capita income than Americans. That's why the climate-change computer models look scary. That's how "solid" the science is: It's predicated on the North Korean economy overtaking the United States.

Could happen. Who knows?

Yes, it could happen and likely will, if Kyoto is put into effect. Then, the western nations - like Canada - can prop up any country that is developing. We will work to support other countries grow. How smart is that?

That was a great article, because it made sense. I also agreed with everything Steyn wrote, but knew it before he put it into words so well, as he does.

The media that is supposed to provide people with a little bit of insight as to what's going on in the world are the biggest failures in the global warming fraud. They are too afraid to question anything and since they know absolutely nothing about science they are too easily led around like lemmings.

Mark Steyn's an inveterate liar. You suckers believe anything, don't you?

Debate's over, kiddies.

Another brave anonymous lefty with no argument.

The debate is just starting. The scaremongerers have done this before: global cooling, running out of fossil fuels, population explosion, diminishing resources, unsustainable growth... yadda yadda yadda.

What the left can't comprehend is human ingenuity in a free market to solve problems.

True enough. Mark Steyn may have no good arguments, but at least he puts his name on the byline.
