Turkey Gave Israel Intel on Syria

Despite Turkey's Islamist President Tayyip Erdogan, elements in the Turkish military probably provided Israel with intelligence on Syrian WMD activities, according to a Kuwaiti newspaper. It is believed the IAF made an incursion into Syria to attack nuclear or missile facilities.

Israel and Turkey have a longstanding military and intelligence relationship. Turkey may have even given the IAF planes flyover rights to carry out the attack.

It is also believed that Syria is transfering arms into northern Lebanon via Turkey to supply Hezbollah and other terrorist groups with weapons to attack Israel.
