Canadian Troops Gear Up for Taliban

After breaking out their comrades from a prison in Kandahar, members of the Taliban have regrouped and taken over a number of towns near the city of Kandahar. Canadian troops are, and will continue, to gear up and roll out to take on the enemy.

CTV News reports, "Mohammad Farooq, the government leader in the Arghandab district of Kandahar province, said Monday that about 500 Taliban had moved into what has been considered a relatively peaceful district."

Our boys (and girls) will be mounting their armoured vehicles to ensure that the Taliban does not regain a foothold. Pray for our troops and their families, may God give them skill, courage, and compassion, may He bring them home safely and grant them victory against a barbaric enemy.
