Hillary Clinton finally endorses Obama after "suspending" her campaign for the Democratic nomination. I suspect she hasn't ended her campaign just in case some bombshell drops, like maybe a video of Michelle Obama using the word "whitey" beside Louis Farrakhan. For now, that's just a rumor and I doubt that it is true.
Hillary's supporters were less than enthusiastic about her endorsement. Some polls show up to 17% of Clinton supporters voting for McCain in the general election.
I wonder what Hillary thinks of Obama's promise to make the oceans stop rising. Obama's pride and arrogance is really quite astounding, I mean read this quote, "this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal… This was the moment — this was the time — when we came together to remake this great nation… "
Excuse me Barry, but the United States was a great nation long before you were born. The US has been caring for the sick not only in America for centuries, but around the world. There are plenty of good jobs in the United States, and despite high oil prices and economic difficulties the US still has the strongest economy in the world and historically low unemployment. Now healing the planet, the earth has been cooling since 1998, and Kyoto didn't stop any emissions increases, so perhaps the climate can take care of itself.
Obama should start calling himself the indispensable candidate since he doesn't believe America is the indispensable nation.

Hillary didn't exactly give a resounding endorsement of The Messiah:
"As a community organizer, in the state senate, as a United States Senator - he has dedicated himself to ensuring the dream is realized. And in this campaign, he has inspired so many to become involved in the democratic process and invested in our common future."
That's a pretty lame endorsement of The Messiah who claims that June 3, 2008 is the day that America will start caring for the sick, the seas will obey his will and the planet will start to heal.
Basically she acknowledged his thin credentials for the job, and the inevitability that The Messiah is the default Dem candidate in August unless He screws up royally between now and then.
Regardless, I expect that the IPCC and Al Gore are taking note, that June 3, 2008 will soon become a Global Gaia Day of praise, worship and prayer for The Messiah.
As Mark Steyn commented:
"But mark it in your calendars: June 3, 2008 – the long-awaited day, after 232 years, that America began to provide care for the sick. Just a small test program: 47 attendees of the Obama speech were taken to hospital and treated for nausea. Everyone else came away thrilled that the Obamessiah was going to heal the planet and reverse the rise of the oceans: When Barack wants to walk on the water, he doesn't want to have to use a stepladder to get up on it."
Fads and infatuation are predictably transient. We'll see whether the Obama-maniacs will remain under His snake-oil spell of "hope" and "change" for the next 6 months or whether they'll realize sooner that His gospel is standard socialism that the liberals been preaching for generations in one form or another. After all, 6 months can be a long time for most puppy-love affairs.
Advice to those in His Flock who might be experiencing unexpected symptoms like a "thrill" going up your leg:
Steyn suggested: "if leg tingles persist for more than six months, see your doctor."
The story the media needs to start reporting is that McCain does not have the support of almost half his base. 40% prefer someone else to McCain. 1 million Ron Paul votes are unlikely to go Republican. Obama is getting a bounce on unity. I doubt this race will even be close in November. If it is, it won't be because of the Republican brand but McCain's war hero status.

Poll: Obama leads McCain nationally by slight margin
By The Associated Press – 2 days ago
THE RACE: The presidential race nationally
___
THE NUMBERS
Barack Obama, 47 percent
John McCain, 43 percent
Ralph Nader, 6 percent
___
OF INTEREST:
If Nader, the independent, is not included, Obama's lead is 49 percent to 46 percent. About one in five voters say they may change their minds. Four in 10 Democrats say Hillary Rodham Clinton should stay in the race until the party's August convention. If she is Obama's running mate and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is McCain's, the Democrats' lead is 6 percentage points. Just over half of Democrats want Obama to put Clinton on his ticket, and if he doesn't one in four want her to fight for the spot at the convention. More than four in 10 Republicans still say they'd rather see the GOP nominate someone besides McCain.
___
The CNN-Opinion Research Corp. poll was conducted June 4-5 and included telephone interviews with 921 registered voters. It had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. Also included were interviews with 447 Democrats and 435 Republicans, with a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.5 points for each.
